MBSC members are invited to attend an upcoming event hosted by Collingwood Yacht Club.
Monday, January 5 at 7:00 pm, Collingwood YC will be hosting Scott Shawyer, who will be speaking about his campaign as he prepares for the 2028 Vendée Globe Race – the non-stop, around-the-world, single-handed sailing race widely regarded as one of the toughest events in the sport.
Scott will be:
- Sharing updates on his training and upcoming races
- Showing photos and videos from the campaign
- Answering questions in an open Q&A session
It should be a fantastic evening, especially for anyone interested in offshore racing or curious about what it takes to get to the starting line of the Vendée Globe.
